Ya Abal Hasani Ya Musa Ibn Jaafar, Ayyuhal Kazhim

Photograph,1910,of the Kazimayn Mosque [ the two Kazims],then in a suburb, north of Baghdad.The shrine was built in the Shia Buyid dynasty period,and the curent mosque was built by the founder of the Persian Shia Safavid Dynasty, Shah Isma'il,in the 16th.century. The shrine contains the burial site of the 7th. and 9th. Imams of the twelver shias.Musa al-Kazim [ A.D. 745-799], the seventh Imam,was said to be poisioned by Harun al-Rashid,the Abbasid Caliph.The nineth Imam Muhammad al-Taqi[A.D. 810-833],became an Imam at age seven,and lived during the rein of the Abbasid Caliph al-Ma'mun,who was sympathetic to the Shia's and gave his daughter Umm al-Fadl to him in marriage.
